Engagements are accepted throughout London, the South East and abroad.

The Role of a Toastmaster

Whatever type of event you are planning, there are many benefits to engaging Alan as your Professional Toastmaster.

Prior to the occasion the planning of detail is of paramount importance to the smooth running of the event. Alan will advise on tradition, etiquette and protocol, and once the Host has decided on his or her requirements, will prepare a detailed order of proceedings.

On the day the obvious visual impact of his appearance in full traditional regalia, complete with red tailcoat and white gloves and his friendly calming manner, he immediately puts you and your guests at ease. Announcements and introductions are made in the necessary style; formal, or with a lighter touch, as the occasion requires. The announcements and introductions are made with accuracy, brevity, clarity and the authority appropriate to the event.

However, much of the value Alan brings to your event is unobtrusive and discreet. He liaises with the venue staff and any others involved, utilising his organisational skills, gained from years in the Hotel business running Receptions, Dinners and Banquets, ensuring everything happens when it should. He supports and encourages all those with a part to play in the proceedings, instilling confidence and exerting a calming influence. He keeps your event running smoothly and to time. Above all, you and your guests can relax and enjoy your event, without stress or worry.
